True Process is proud to call Milwaukee our home. Besides beer, brats, and the Brewers, Milwaukee fosters a competitive hub for biomedical research and medical technology initiatives. Thanks to our world-class universities, actively growing biotech community, and the Medical College of Wisconsin, innovation is thriving right in our backyard.
Just three miles away lies our alma-mater, UW-Milwaukee. Over half of the True Process team attended UWM – our CEO, Todd Dunsirn, and President, Doug Frede are proud UWM alumni. Since 2006, UWM has been working on a Research Growth Initiative within their affiliated Innovation Campus, which neighbors the Medical College of Wisconsin and other leading-edge medical organizations. The early stage Innovation Campus is a promising public-private research park and home to UWM’s new Innovator Accelerator building. The Accelerator encourages academic research and collaboration between local researchers, partners, startups, and other academic institutions.
Last month, we were honored to be part of the 2017 BizTimes I.Q. Awards for Innovation from Milwaukee BizTimes. Our innovative medical device connectivity platform, ViNES®, allows medical researchers, analysts, and innovators to capture high-resolution, high-density medical data from a variety of medical devices and systems. Medical technology innovation is thriving throughout Milwaukee and we couldn’t be more excited to be involved in this movement.
