Hood, who was a key player on the Human Genome Project, believes there are four converging forces that are driving a significant evolution in healthcare — systems medicine, big data and analytics, digitalization of personal measurements, and patient-led social networks. These forces are driving us toward something he calls P4 healthcare: predictive, personalized, preventive and participatory.
